LEVEL SYSTEM POLICY

Soberal Swim School instructors are Red Cross certified and abide by the Red Cross standards. If a water safety instructor deems a student is not eligible to participate in a level, it is due to the Red Cross standard.

To maintain a safe learning environment, Soberal Swim School reserves the right to refuse enrollment or discontinue lessons if a certified Water Safety Instructor determines that the student and instructor cannot safely work together or that the lesson environment is not conducive to safe and/or effective instruction.

REFUND / MAKEUP POLICY

All lesson fees are non-refundable. Makeup lessons are provided to students only under conditions expressly approved by Soberal Swim School.

Lessons cancelled by the participant with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited and are not eligible for a makeup lesson or refund.

Students arriving late will receive the remaining lesson time only. Lessons will end at the scheduled time and will not be extended due to late arrival.

Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and students are not eligible for a makeup lesson or refund.

Soberal Swim School reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule lessons due to weather, pool conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its control. If class is cancelled or rescheduled due to any of these reasons, students are eligible for a makeup lesson.

Students who are ill, have a contagious condition, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or other symptoms that may pose a health risk should not attend lessons. Sick students are eligible for Makeup lessons with proper notice (Within 24 hours).

SAFETY POLICY

Students and parents must follow all pool rules, instructor directions, and safety requirements. Failure to do so may result in removal from lessons without refund.
In the event of an emergency, instructors may suspend or terminate a lesson and contact emergency services when deemed necessary for the safety of participants.

Soberal Swim School maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, threats, intimidation, abusive language, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct directed toward instructors, staff, students, or parents.

Soberal Swim School encourages clients to communicate concerns directly so that issues may be addressed promptly and professionally.

Participants under 18 years of age will not be photographed or recorded for promotional marketing or social media purposes without parent or guardian consent.

Participants over the age of 18, Soberal Swim School may take photographs or videos during lessons, events, or activities for educational, promotional, official Soberal Swim School social media platforms, or marketing purposes. If students/participants do not consent to this, they may opt out of photo and video use by notifying us in writing.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We collect necessary information regarding minors to provide swim instruction and related services, such as Name, DOB, and Health concerns. Information about children is collected from parents or legal guardians and handled with appropriate care. Medical information will not be shared and abides by HIPAA law.

All scheduling, cancellations, and business communications must occur through official Soberal Swim School communication channels. Personal contact information of instructors is private and may not be used for non-business purposes.

HOME-POOL PRIVACY

The address of any private lesson location is confidential and will NOT be shared, published, posted online, or distributed.
