PARENT CHILD

WATER ACCLIMATION & Building Survival Skills

The parent-child swim classes build water survival skills gently through instructor-led lessons, with parent participation. During parent-child swim classes, parents hold the student as they are guided through survival techniques. Our swim program is designed to foster independence in the water as students grow in confidence and skill. As swimmers advance, they are encouraged to transition away from parent participation and engage directly with their instructor. This allows for individualized teaching and supports continued skill development in higher-level classes. Lessons are held at participants' homes, gyms, or public pool facilities.
